Hi there,

I recommend using the "insert gallery" feature so that you don't have to manually edit/create the shortcode. This way you can make edits to how you want the gallery to work.

Since the gallery shortcode/feature is a WordPress feature, please refer to the official gallery page for more info: http://codex.wordpress.org/Gallery_Shortcode

I have a new problem with galleries and my theme...

I've uploaded wordpress and each time I create a gallery I get a different result.

When creating an inserting a gallery with the code [gallery link="file" columns="2" ids="xxx,yyy"] the results I have can be:
- The picture opens as a single file in the browser
- The pictures opens as a post within my website http://www.lisatamiris.com/vp-mag-julho-12
- The picture opens in a single gallery frame http://www.lisatamiris.com/herideal-fev13/
- The picture opens in a gallery frame that allows navigation to the following pictures. http://www.lisatamiris.com/bikinis-sungadela-2013

This last one is what I want to happen always. How can I do it?

Glad you got your gallery working. Unfortunately, the "[gallery link="file"] display has nothing to do with the actual Wave Theme. This appears to be an issue with Wordpress displaying the short-code. You may want to browse the Wordpress forums for a solution, but like I said, it's not because of an issue with the theme.

I managed to use galleries but I always get the text "[gallery link="file"]" next to the featured image of the post in the homepage.

Of course I can add photos to the post, but I would like to be able to navigate them when opened instead of opening and closing each one.

I want to show photo sessions in my posts, so besides the featured image I want to have a gallery inside of each post. I see that I can insert a gallery in a page, but not in a post.
Do I have to create a page for every new post and link them? Is there any plugin suitable to do this with the WAVE theme?
I have the Good Old Gallery installed but it doesn't do anything to my posts.
