Hi there,

1. I see the light version in effect. The dark spots you're seeing are areas that support background control. You'll need to edit the post/page background to make a change here, but I can verify the light version is being properly loaded.

2. You need to manually create categories for them to appear in the drop down. The drop down will load all categories you created.

I figured out the answer to #3 but I am still having the issues with the options not working/appearing on the backend.

Hi there,
I know you are out for the weekend but my download of the site files seems to be corrupted. I hope you guys can help me address on Monday ASAP.

You should know my site is http://www.agoodhurt.com/ and I had been doing my edits using a child theme per your recommendation.

I had already done several edits but I noticed that the backend of my WordPress (note-I am running the latest version of WordPress) was not as it was in your walkthrough video. SO I reinstalled (twice) and reverted back to the original options under "RESET OPTIONS" button to start from scratch and still no luck.

Here are a few of the problems I am encountering:

1. When I change the the theme skin to 'light" in the options and test, I just get a flash of white and then the site loads with the 'dark' skin. I'm assuming this is not the intended result because you describe "...a light background with dark text..." in your video walkthrough.

2. When I go to 'slider stuff" under the drop down, I do not see the various category default options as shown in your walkthrough video - I only see "uncategorized"

3. When I reinstalled the Producer theme and then tried to reinstall my producer_child theme, I am getting a message in WP that the parent theme is not installed - BUT it is currently running the Producer theme so how can it not be installed. Plus I see the theme on my file manager of my host.
