Hi there,

1. I'm not seeing any issues with your home page on my end (the page does NOT go black). I'm not sure why that's happening for you. Maybe check for updates on your machine (browser, OS, etc)? Maybe try another machine? Maybe try viewing your site as a non-logged-in user?

2. Category pages display like the "Video 2" layout on the demo site. You need to use one of the page templates to display videos full screen, but as you point out, this is redundant if you're already using the video template on your home page.

Hope that helps some.

Best,

Christopher

Hi Christopher
No It is not working for me. It is not displaying correctly at all, as I have subsequently pointed out here on the forum.
On a smart phone browser the home page shows a full screen but on my iMac and on other full screen computers that I have checked this is what is happening;
The home page opens briefly full screen then it goes to black screen with a play button. The still image from the video disappears.
Secondly
On the menu in the side bar I am not getting a full screen for any of the video format pages because if I use the video format it plays the same video from the home page. Therefore I have to use default template which means small screen.
Please look at my site again, at all of the pages. I am spending so much time on this, it is very disappointing. I had hoped to purchase this site for a second project and would be glad to give it positive recommendations on your forum and also on my board on Pin interest if only I could get it to do what it says on the tin.I am looking forward to to hearing from you I hope you can offer some constructive advice.

You bet! Thanks for following up :-)

If you're enjoying the theme, PLEASE don't forget to rate it on your downloads page on ThemeForest. Positive ratings REALLY help me out and encourage further development and updates.

Thanks!

I have managed to create a full screen on the home page but here it opens as a black page with just the player button, there is no still fame image to represent the video. I have returned to Viemo to make sure I have this selected here at the source and I have.

HiChristopher

I have since followed the steps in your video walk through and I have also created Post pages as well as Pages and applied the video template to each and I still have the same issue. I am confused as in your walkthrough video (at 13.55) you say that 'the videos page is used for the video 1 example and that is full screen' yet I cannot get the full screen.
Please can you advise. The theme looks really beautiful but I have spent so much time trying to get it right.

http://www.shelaghhonan.com
Hi could it have to do with that I am creating pages instead of posts pages is there a difference?

Hi I am having the same issue
When I use the Video Page template noting shows up, so I have to select 'default template'. Then the videos show up in smaller screen. Is this because my video pages are child pages under a parent theme of Video.

Hi,

I am having trouble with the full screen video function, currently the screen says "nothing found". When I post a video it shows up as a small blog post view on the left size of the screen. How do I set up a video so that it plays in full mode with a play button in the middle like the demo shows?

Please help!
Thanks!

CH
