I can't 100% guarantee that EVERY plugin will work because it's impossible for me to test every plugin available. That said, there isn't anything in my themes that should be preventing plugins from working.

If you continue to have issues, please contact the appropriate support channels for that plugin.

Before I do go nuts, is there any reason why this theme will not run other plugins? Specifically the NexGen gallery or a similar gallery?

I'm new to wordpress but not new to blogs/cms/forum admin etc so I didn't think I'd stumble on anything serious but I am.

If I have a brand new WP install, with the university theme, where do the images come from for each of the featured posts on the front page? Are images supposed to be attached to posts?

Also seeing people with thumbnail problems (and solutions) I assume the thumbnails are what are displayed next to each of the available featured items?

Sorry for the stupid questions but it's not really obvious to me.
