So to update. I had set latest posts to reading settings to avoid visitors having an info tab on arrival and doubling up with an about page too.

So yeah. Only solution is a welcome page which is annoying but i can live with that. It just adds confusion to visitors. More to click. More ways to get lost.

Hopefully a future release fixes this as in my opinion, a welcome page is not required.

Justin, maybe my first post was not clear enough?

Initially the landing page image was what i set via theme settings. The image you see is one that appeared from an associated blog post background not what i've set.

This is not what i want as the landing image. Basically i want to set an image to the landing page and stop any future blog posts chaging it!

Oddly, it seems like a random bug too. As some posts i write and assign a background image- do not appear on front page.

Can you please confirm how to set a landing page background image please? And KEEP it there as i obviously want to choose the image my visitors see on arrival and currently it is NOT an image i want them to see!

As per twitter and themeforest request- Chris asked me to post in here. I hope this time i get a response.

Front page backgrund image- why does it it keep changing? I set the background image via settings and that worked for a while. Now it changes to background images associated to blog post backgrounds. I want to choose the image visitors see on arrival. How can i fix this please.
