Hi there,

Please keep in mind that "© 2013 A Cambridge Diary." is hard-coded into the template file. Is that what you're referring to? The footer text field is suppose to allow you to add additional info after that. Is it not working?

You can manually add the text you want (and edit/remove the hard-coded text) by opening "footer.php" and locating the following on line 46...

&copy; <?php echo date("Y "); bloginfo('name'); ?>. <?php if($footer) { echo $footer;} ?>

You can alter or remove all of that if you want and just have your custom text. Here's an example that keeps the copyright/title info...

&copy; <?php echo date("Y "); bloginfo('name'); ?>. Designed by Me.

Hi - I can't change the footer text. I've tried entering new text in the dialogue box under 'Misc.' tab but when I save changes nothing happens - can you help please
