Thank you for your help... I already know what's wrong. At a certain point we moved the site to another folder and now wordpress is somehow confused. Anyway, now we know how to handle it.

Hello,

Do you have the proper file permissions set, if there aren't it won't "save" almost make sure your not caching and you just haven't seen the changes yet

Hi,

I have added Terms and Conditions link to footer, right after "© 2012 JOIN2WRITE | Site by THE MOLITOR"

Now I edited this content in APPEARANCE > EDITOR file footer.php however the system does not assume this change. At the moment the code I have s shown below but this is not what is being displayed and the link in terms and conditions is not opening the right pagd:
