Ah, I see what you mean. Yes, this appears to be a Safari thing. The footer/copyright sits inside the widget panel area, which is hidden until a user click "info panel". The z-index determines the layering, but Safari doesn't seem to care about that as the element is inside a hidden div.

Cleared the cache, reset Safari, etc. No change.
I have read through numerous discussions on the subject of Safari and discovered a plethora of issues/conflicts. Could not find any specific solution to my problem.

OK…I think I figured out the problem. It's bloody Safari! I checked my site with Chrome and the Footer displays just fine.
Now I just have to figure out what is wrong with Safari (running 6.2.3 for Mac 10.8.5.)

Did exactly that…and successfully uploaded and installed 1.4.5. Also tweaked/changed background,colour settings in Customize.
And still no footer info appears. Not sure what else I can do.

Ah, you need to either replace the theme via FTP or delete the current theme you have installed. WordPress is thinking your trying to install a theme you already have installed.

I took your suggestion and created my own zip file of 1.4.5. Unfortunately, got the same error message. What does "Destination folder already exists" mean? (currently running version 1.4.3):

You shouldn't have any issues uploading the theme zip. You could try making your own zip of the theme folder and upload that. For info about making zip files, please check out this article: http://www.wikihow.com/Make-a-Zip-File

Just wanted to add that the Footer info does display when I click the "Info Panel" to view my settings. Odd.
I also tried changing various settings (Customize) as you had suggested, but this had no effect. Only thing it did was restore the default background pattern, which I cannot edit/change now, even after I repeatedly add and delete background image. Looks like it's stuck on the default.

Thanks Chris. I managed to upgrade to 1.4.3 by simply downloading from my Evanto Account, and then uploading the zip file through WP dashboard. Cannot seem to do the same with 1.4.4 or 1.4.5. Upload fails each time.

Do I really need to set up FTP or should I be able to get updates as per aforementioned method?

I just released Version 1.4.5 today. Try that.

If the issue continues, try resetting your Customizer settings by (1) making an adjustment, (2) wait for page refresh, (3) change your setting back and (4) save/publish your changes.

Recently updated to The Curator 1.4.3. Footer info including your credit (The Molitor), plus FB, LinkedIn, Twitter links no longer display. NOTE: They are all added in the customization field for "Footer".
