Hi there,

Part of the copyright section is hard coded. If you open up footer.php you'll see the following on line 48...

&copy; <?php echo date('Y '); bloginfo('name'); echo ". ".$footerText; echo " ";?>

Here you can see the "$footerText" you enter on the Customize page appears after the copyright icon, year and blog name.

Hi, I purchased yesterday and added my copyright details in Appearance - Customize - Footer Text but I'm still getting the default one as well. See image: https://gyazo.com/bd8de20e003087a1059949e3609320a2

Is this a bug or am I missing a step?
