@Gripants, as a work around I have added "ticker:true" and changed "speed:100000" to the carousel section of custom.js

This may be an issue to take up with the guys behind bxslider, to see if they're familiar with it. I've messed around with several of the parameters, i.e. setting the moveSlides parameter to 1, and the "skipping" still occurs. I can't really offer much more help at this point. I'll let the forum know if I stumble across anything. Thanks again for all your work.

Yes this was my issue as well. I have about 50+ companies in the carousel and having the same scrolling problem.

That appears to be the source of the problem. Using a category with more than 10 posts in the footer carousel causes the issue. The carousel displays the first set of five on initial load, then scrolls to the second set of five as desired, but skips back to display the "first" five posts instead of displaying the third set.

This is so bizarre. I'm not able to recreate this issue on any my demo site installations.

Have you tried adjusting the amount of posts you have in the carousel? My demo site has 10 posts loaded. Try using that number and let me know if it helps.

I've restored the original theme files with no luck. Do you have any idea what the cause could be? This is by no means an urgent issue, just mostly curious at this point. Thank you again for any help.

I see your carousel is auto-rotating. That isn't a default option, so it appears that you've made edits to theme. If so, undo those edits to see if the issue persists.

I have this same issue on http://mchsalumnigolf.com. I can't recall when the problem began but have I deactivated plugins and the problem persists. Any additional thoughts on this one?

I'm not able to recreate this at all on any of my test sites. I even added 20+ items to the footer carousel, and it still performs as it should.

I can only suggest that you reinstall the theme and test using the basic default setup as I still see some edits applied to the template files (which are causing validation errors BTW).

I honestly can't see any theme-related issues causing this. Hope you understand.

It used to work fine during the lower settings. I can get as far as the "second page" of the scroll but anything farther than that pushes it back to the "first page".

Hi Chris,
All I did was add the social media links above. That's the only change that I made to the site. That shouldn't have created an issue with the footer slider. I can tell you that the issue started happening when I increased the amount of sliders are allowed in the footer slider.

Taking another look at your site, I see you've made edits to the template files. In order for me to troubleshoot any issues, I'll have to ask that you revert to a default setup of the theme in order to make sure the issue you have isn't caused by any changes you've made.
