Hi there,

Are you referring to the home page header text? If so, here is the currently styling...

#welcome h1 {
    font-size: 40px;
}
#welcome h1,
#welcome h2,
#welcome h3,
#welcome h4,
#welcome h5,
#welcome h6 {
    color: #fff;
    font-weight: bold;
    line-height: 1em;
    margin-bottom: 3px;
}
#welcome p {
    font-size: 18px;
    font-weight: bold;
    margin-bottom: 20px;
}
#welcome .buttons {
    background: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0) none repeat scroll 0 0 !important;
    border: 3px solid #fff;
}
#welcome a {
    border-bottom: 1px dotted #fff;
    color: #fff;
}

You can copy/paste that into the Custom CSS box on the Customize page and make edits there. Adding Google fonts support would require a plugin to add that type of control for specific text items. If you need additional help making edits, I'll have to ask that you submit a request for custom services here: http://themolitor.com/custom

Hi there,

What I mean is removing the !important element from style.css and adding your own CSS to the Custom CSS box.

Please keep in mind that support does not include customization services, so if you need additional help with this I'll have to ask that you submit a request: http://themolitor.com/customization-request

Hi Chris,

THanks for trying to help me out with this. I edited the template file and it still is not working. Check out you're changed code here:

/*--HEADER MENU--*/
.userMenu {
font-weight: bold;
height: 40px;
position: absolute;
top: 50%;
right: 0px;
margin: -20px 0 0 0;
display: inline-block;
font-size: 12px;
list-style: none;
}
.userMenu li {display: inline-block;}
.userMenu a {
border-radius: 2px;
line-height: 40px;
display: inline-block;
padding: 0 15px;
margin-left: 0;
color: #555;
color: rgba(255,0,0,.5);
}
.userMenu i {display: none;}
.userMenu .current-menu-item a,
.userMenu a:hover {
background: none;
color: #555;
}

As you can see, I just want any color but white :)

Thanks for your help!

Sincerely,

Amanda

Try removing the
!important
styling from the STYLE.CSS template file for
.userMenu a

Let me know if that helps.

Hello,

I am currently trying to change the color of the font of the menu text. I followed your directions of placing the following custom code within the CSS part of the theme options and unfortunately the color of the font did not change:

.userMenu a {color: rgba(255, 0, 0, 0.8) !important;}

This code should be providing the text as red and it still is coming up white on my site: http://www.veggram.com. I also tried to go into the style.css editor view and update the color. It resulted in no change.

I think it might have something to do with refreshing the code or resetting the theme but I'm not sure.

I appreciate any help you can bring to this matter.

Thanks,

Amanda

This thread is for The Kitchen Table theme, which doesn't have Google Font theme options. For Le Maitre 'd support, please post in that theme forums.

Here is a weird one: trying to use the Custom Font field for

Open Sans Extra Bold 800

The api code generated works fine in Safari and in the preview, but in Chrome it does not take.

Adding keyword: Open Sans

has it display in Open Sans, but not the extra weight. I cannot find the keyword permutation anywhere which works, although it does come through in Safari and in the preview panel in Chrome.

Hi there,

Changes like that require some custom CSS in the Custom CSS box on the Customize page.

What font/color are you wanting to use? Do you want to change a specific section or all text?

If it's something basic I'll be happy to provide some example CSS to use.

Let me know.
