By file size, I'm referring to the amount of storage the image requires, not the dimensions of the image. Try using the link I provided above to shrink the file size of your images and use that new image for your slider.

First, let me say how much I appreciate the author of a theme taking the time to reply and address issues. Thank you.

I have tried to shrink a pic down to 100x110 and it still won't work. My first feature pic worked; but a 2nd or 3rd will not.

Other ideas?

Thanks again for being "hands on."

If images are loading, that means the script is working properly. It sounds like you're using images with large file sizes. Try preparing your images for the web and seeing if that works better.

This is a good site for reducing image file sizes: http://www.smushit.com/ysmush.it/

Here is our website - http://www.stlukecg.com

You'll see that the first image on featured was able to load (albeit a very small pic that was expanded ((large pics wouldn't work)) but it's blurry; unfortunately, any attempt at loading another featured post and pic does not work (as illustrated by the "Gather for worship" featured post showing no pic.

I did add a cache folder. The script seems to have put the "We believe the Lord led you here" featured pic in there as a png file. Unfortunately, however, the script isn't doing the same for other featured pics.

Please advise and thank you.

I've been trying to make the "feature bar" work, and I am trying your suggestions in another thread, but I do not seem to have a cache file where you name to change permissions to 777. Have I missed doing something to set that up?
