Hi there,

With the way The Producer is designed, the featured images for video posts is intended to display in traditional "movie poster" format as showcased on the demo site.

Changing the aspect ratio would require some custom development to achieve as the layout isn't currently designed to display various sizes for featured images on the same page.

If you want to explore cost and time for making these changes, please use this form to submit a request for services: http://themolitor.com/custom

Best,

Christopher

Hello,

It seems that on some of my posts, it's forcing the featured image to have a portrait aspect ratio, and cropping off the sides. This throws some of my custom pages off, but the aspect ratio is forced on the post page, and it seems like they are sized up to have the same widths (which is fine if the image displays in it's original aspect ratio). For example, the "eternal respiration" post on this page http://josiahduncan.com/videos-2/ which is 1:1 aspect but it's forcing a portrait movie poster one. I also have a 16:9 available but it looks worse. I'm going for organization much like this page http://josiahduncan.com/weddings/

If you're wondering, the page is static wide with code that organizes the featured image, title, and description from the front page slider into a grid.
