I have one other suggestion. It would be great if I could choose to have the secondary column on the front page but not on the single post pages. On the single post pages I want more room to write.

Most newspapers have a Featured Story on the front page that is a little larger than the other articles. I tried to accomplish this by creating a category with only one post and then adding a display:none in the css to make the slider div disappear, but that caused the sliders to disappear site wide. So it would be great if we could have two features added to Daily Press:

(1) The option for a Featured story/article on the front page that's a little larger than the other posts. This would give room for a little more text before the "read more -->" and also allow for a larger attention-grabbing image!

(2) The option to remove the slider whenever there is only one post in the category. The purpose of the slider is to give each article in the category a moment to shine out from the others, but if there is only one post in the category it is shining all the time--so a slider would be superfluous.

Love this theme! Please add these to make it even better!

-Insert new optional advertisement spaces: below the main menu and between categories.
-Posibility to insert an url in the home pictures to link videos directly.
-Select which piece of news is "you might also like..."

A nice update is to modify the padding of the secondary sidebar.

Known issue is with the twitter widget when the user name is too long or too many subscribers, the follow link will end up on top of the right margin and looks awful.

At the moment these numbers work for me:
padding:35px 39px 40px 31px;
margin: -35px -39px 30px -31px;

The thing that consistently annoys me the most is having to rotate the topics around on the front page just to get the newest one with a post to display on top. Having the option to sort the categories by most recent post would be a HUGE help.

If the newest post is in the Blog section then put it at the top. If a newer post in the video section comes in then put it above the Blog.

Make sense? That way the newest post, regardless of category, will always be at the top of the page.

For each category, I would like to have the possibility to:

1- Decide if the post will have pictures/thumbnails or not, and then the design would be automatically adhusted.
2- Decide on the lenght of the excerpt
3- More options to adjust the css from Theme Options, not having to edit the files directely

A full width page template (without any sidebars) would be very useful since you don't want the sidebar/widgets which are on the entering page to be on every single page of the website.

A rough descripton how to accomplish that would work for me as well, since I am trying and experimenting myself to get a working full width page anyway. Sadly I haven't succeeded yet.

IF is possible, when a post have more than one picture, to slide in homepage.

I would like the Website to be able to display texts in the Indian languages.

I agree with the above post, using yoast seo I was able to attach an author profile just had to enter my google+ page to my profile details etc but I agree would be helpful to have this feature. Also like the idea of being able to display an authors facebook, twitter websites etc in the author bio section would be beneficial & authors / contributors I believe would appreciate it.

Main thing I need is added data field for the author (user info page in settings) box, to support Google's new "rel=author" tag; similar to the field added for "title" ... but which would print as a link to the author's Google+ page. This allows the author's photo to show up in Google search results, and with link to Google+ profile. Obviously, possibly adding a couple more fields like facebook page link, twitter link; ala the wp-biographia plugin would solve these neat little optins for the theme and add superb value without having to hack the theme to use that plugin. Then print the fields below the bio "if populated" or blank if "not populated." I need the rel-author, so debating either hacking your code to add field then print (clone the code you're using for the title), or chop out all the author code you've got, and replace with call to the wp-biographia plugin (OUCH!). Prefer the code added to the theme as official update (and actually, something you might consider for ALL your themes, if using the same function includes for the author box stuff). :-)

Please consider localization of the theme.

I think a tabbed widget would make this great theme look even more professional. E.g. here http://www.independent.ie/ the BREAKING NEWS widget on the right hand side.
Have been browsing for Add-Ons but could not find something like this. Would be great to have the latest articels, the most read ones and the most commented ones in there, or something similar. What do you think?

For the top banner Ad can you make the width of the banner fit the full width of the home page and make the height so we can adjust it to whatever dimensions we want.
