Hi, I am trying to do the same with brick and mason theme, but cant find the custom.js file
I have been with my FTP server provider on a chat and we could not find it. What am I doing wrong??

To remove the widget "+" button, remove the following on line 81 in custom.js...

jQuery("#leftColumn").prepend("<div id='sideToggle'>+</div>");

ok from cpanel I deleted ''jQuery("#dropmenu ul").parent().children("a").append("<span> +</span>");'' the line as you see, and the + is still there, nothing happend

To properly edit template files like custom.js, you'll need to use an FTP tool. Most hosting providers have this as part of their cPanel features.

Another option is to edit the theme files in a basic text editor and then re-upload the theme all together.

Open up "custom.js" and remove the following on line 81...
