The same process above applies to pages as well. The only difference is that the options in the drop down from step #2 above reads "uploaded to this page".

This does not seem to be an option that can be used in the automatically created Gallery in the Vysual theme. How can a custom order of images displayed be controlled when the Gallery has been created by adding images to a page's content where the template has been set to Gallery (as instructed in the theme's documentation) in the Vysual theme? Thanks in advance! :)

To change the order of how images appear in the WordPress gallery, simply click/drag the images in the order you want them to appear in the gallery pop-up window.

Method:

  1. Click "add media".
  2. Under the "media library" text, locate the select drop down menu and change it from "all media items" to "uploaded to this post"
  3. You should now be able to click/drag the order of the images (no saving required, just click/drag and you're done).
