i am facing issue about home page MAP, map not showing what i have to do? i am new on this theme, so i don't know how to do it and show map on home page can you please help me, last night i purchased theme now i want to quick setup

Hi there,

Couple things...

1. You currently have version 1.3 active. There have been a lot of updates since then. Most notably, the theme now uses the Customize page for theme options. When updating from a version of the theme that didn't use these settings, you'll need to reapply your settings on the Customize page (appearance > customize). This is likely why the map/page was blank.

2. Your current map is centered on France (with no markers there), which indicates you have map items without proper location data. Please review my comments above regarding that.

Hi Chris, thanks for your prompt response earlier, I think I'm on the correct board now... As I described earlier, my developer upgraded to WP 4.0 and upgraded the theme to the latest version and the homepage map went black (http://musicorigins.com). We reverted to the old version of WP and my old version of the theme to get the site back up. I'm not sure what the issue could be --any ideas? Could it be a plug-in conflict?

If your home page centers on France (i.e. the middle of the map), this means you have posts on your map without map data (i.e. you need to provide map coordinates).

Any post without map data should be in the category you specify in the theme options panel for the blog.

If you don't have a blog category created, please be sure to create one and assign it in the theme options. This will make sure you have a designated blog for non-map posts.
