Hey Justin, thanks for the reply.

I ended up deleting the social buttons from the lightbox and using them instead on the actual post. This way individual images can get "Liked" and discussed. Also managed to get the Pinterest button in the mix.

I'm happy the way things came out. If anyone is interested in the plugins I used:

› Sociable (Fb, Twitter, etc..)
› Pinterest "Pin it" Button

Hey there...

Actually, if the FB Like button was linked to each individual image that wouldn't work. There would be no way for a user to visit the site w/the lightbox activated.

Using the Page link allows a user to come to the site and then see the image. If it were linked to an individual image URL it would open up the image in the browser but NOT the site... which would not be ideal.

Thanks - maybe another user has done this though, so I'll leave it up for others to see!

Has anyone had any luck with the FB "Like" button on the lightbox linking to that particular image/post as opposed to the page it's on?

If so, please share! It makes no sense having a FB button on each image when all it does is associates the like to a page.
