Hi there,

No shortcodes are used. The home page is controlled from the Customize page. You can turn on/off various sections and control which categories of posts you want to display in the slider and calendar sections.

Be sure to review the options available there and check to make sure everything is properly configured (i.e. post categories assigned, sections turned "on", etc).

Hi,

I'm loving the theme, but I am having issues. I have set the "latest post" features for the home page but it is still showing blank.

Is there a short code for showing the slider and the calendar on a page?

Hi there,

The demo site is using the "latest posts" feature for the home page. In other words, do not assign a static page for the home page.

I'm using the Eventure theme and I'm trying to mimic the layout on the preview's Home page. I want both the Slider and the Calender to display. However, when going in to page attributes and selecting the template, I'm given the option between either the Slider or the Calender, there is no template with the both. How did you manage to do this in the preview and how can I implement it into my WordPress site.
