in slider.php find
<div class="sliderDate"><?php echo get_the_time('m.d.Y'); ?></div>

and change to
<div class="sliderDate"><?php echo get_the_time('d.m.Y'); ?></div>

or to what best fit to your needs.

Urgently, I would need to change the format of the date that appears in the featured slider to European format dd/mm/yyyy.
Where can I do this?
