You have some PHP errors on your home page that are likely the cause of the problem. I would address those first (appears to involve your domain).

Hi there,

Having the same problem with my day old download of your University Template. Can't get the original calendar/event plugin to work on the front page (the calendar on the "calendar" page seemed to work fine with the original plugin suggestion). The event brite option seems to work... well maybe on the front page but I'm not sure how to get event on it nor how to get the calendar to display on the calendar page.

I went to my back up option of attempting to use a respectable google calendar plugin and the calendar code works on the page (grab it from google) but the widget for the front page I tried (we'll call it wp widget #1 doesn't load up my events). I tried downloading a different google widget (we'll call it wp plugin #2 - that also seemed to be respectable) and it failed to load also. It attempts to load my calendar information on my front page but then stops without listing my events. I would imagine this should be much easier to make this work.

No sure what to do but I sure would like that list of calendar events to work on the front page.

http://66.147.244.55/~alaskan7/

Thanks.

It looks like you're using the WordPress archive calendar. The events calendar in the demo is a plugin. Here is a pretty neat one to try out: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/the-events-calendar/

Hi There,

I can't get the widget for the Event Calendar on the front theme page, with the exception of the footer. To check, I put them in all the pages, hit saved, switched to site, refreshed, and no widget. I want it to look like the original that I purchased, with speacial events to the right of the category buttons.

Hey,
I've investigated this- the issue isn't that Events Calendar is not working with Wordpress- I can use it without issue on my existing installation with 5 other themes.

It just doesn't work when I have WP University active. Not saying you have to get right on this, but I thought you might be interested to hear since Events Calendar is a plugin that so many people use.

Thanks!

If you encounter an issue with a plugin, PLEASE use the appropriate support channels for that plugin.

Wish I could help, but I didn't have any role in developing the plugin, so I can't provide support for it.

Hi there,
I'm running WP University at http://www.cpa.ednet.ns.ca

I have a year's worth of events entered into the Events Calendar plug in, and I have been able to get the calendar to show up in the homepage widget area, but the calendar, despite have oodles of things to show, looks empty- nothing is clickable, and it appears that there is nothing in the calendar.

Ideas?

I'm also wondering if it's possible to be able to have the Events Calendar operate as a widget in more than one area- ideally, I'd like to to appear on every page of the site..

Thanks for your help!
