Hi there,

I did another check and can confirm that posts ARE staying on the calendar AFTER the event has taken place. I did see an issue with the countdown not showing. To address that, try removing the following on lines 103 and 113...

LINE 103: <?php $postDate = get_the_date('m/d/y g:ia'); if ( strtotime($postDate) > time()) {?>

LINE 113: <?php } ?>

Regarding posts being taken off the calendar, I honestly can't say why that's occurring for you. Because it doesn't happen on my end, I'm thinking it might have something to do with your server/WordPress configurations and how it's generating the current time.

Best,

Christopher

Also, and I don't know if this is related, the count down on the post page stops working around 4 hours prior to the event time.

Chris,

Post are still expiring off the calendar at the time of the event. On a given day if we create a post it will not show up if published at that time that has passed on the same day. can you take a look again at http://www.dceagle.com and check out the calendar.php?

Thanks

John

Hi there,

The function used will display the event if it takes place either today or in the future. Are you seeing posts expire the day of the event?

Let me know.

It is my understanding that events are expiring at the date and time that are listed in the post.

Is it possible to change the expiration methodology to the end of the calendar day instead of the event start time? I would like the posts for events on a set day to remain active until midnight of that day or even one day longer.
