Hi Christopher,

I'm not sure exactly what I did however, the events submission seem to be working well now and after I put in another email address I am receiving the notifications. I always received the Thank you message after filling in the form so that is not a concern now. Just in time for our launch this week. Much appreciated.

I really can't think of what the issue is. I just did a test and the email scripts are working as they should.

Have you tried different emails? Try as many as you can to see if that has any impact.

Just to clarify, are the events showing as pending on the post list page in your dashboard?

Okay, that's good. Creating a post for each day is understandable.

I did what you recommended and no change. Still no email submissions.

Plus, I switched themes and reinstalled the eventure theme, deleted all pages and added new ones, removed email in customize menu...

Is there anything else I can try? Any other ideas?

Hi there,

1. Regarding post duration, since we're using the WordPress publish date to represent the date of the event, we don't have an "end date" setting. As a result, you'll need to create a post for each day of an event. While this may require a bit of extra work, customers tend to like this feature because it allows them to provide details specific about that specific day of the event.

2. Regarding emails, try deactivating all your plugins and see if that has any impact. Let me know.

Still no emails from event submissions despite three attempts. Is there any else I should make changes to, or try?

I tried both your suggestions, including changing to another email for notifications and still do not receive submissions. I'll try deleting the page and starting again. If you have any other suggestions please let me know.

In regard to the duration, let's say the event start date is Mar 8th and goes thru to the 10th. How do get the event to remain until the end of the day of the 10th? I tried setting the events to start and all goes well until the end of the first day of the event. Goes to the archive after the first day.

Hi there,

1. On the customize page, try turning submission notifications off, save, then turn back on (and save again).

2. Events should stay on the calendar until the date has expired. To test this, try creating a test event that is set to take place a couple hours from now. Let me know if you have issues with it.

A couple weeks ago I sent you an email and submitted a request for the following item(s) that did not appear to be working on our site.
Event Submissions do not arrive in the admin/email I set up, is there something I'm missing to get this to work properly?
Is there an update required to have a start and end date on an event? Right now the events disappear when the are set to start, and do not appear on the site for the duration of the event. Is this something I can correct myself? Or am I missing something?
Thanks in advance for your time and help with these items. I'm hoping to launch the site this month and it would be great to offer event submissions for new and upcoming events.

Hi Chris, great design.

I'm not getting emails from front end event submissions form. I've set all the emails I could find and no luck. What could I be missing here? I set up admin., front end submission form email, is there anywhere else I need to configure?

Also, did you ever do event duration updates?
