Hi there,

I can't say for sure why Facebook does what it does. Unfortunately I'm not aware of a way to control what they do as it's all done on Facebook's end and not something the theme can dictate (to my knowledge).

I have tried to insert images into the post. It still doesn't grab that image. Surely I can't be the only person with this problem.

Hi there,

Looking at your posts, you don't have any images in the content area. This is likely why Facebook isn't using them (it doesn't see anything in the post content), so it grabs other images from the page (i.e. the "you might also like" image).

If you're overly concerned about Facebook using the right image, I recommend you insert the image into the post content.

After one of the updates a while ago I noticed when I autopost to facebook using jetpack sharing function it displays the wrong photo. It displays the previous feature image from the post published just before.

I didn't care about this but now my website is growing and people have made some comments. And since you pay money for these photos you want the correct version to show up.

My immediate thought was it is either a facebook issue or jetpack. BUT
I have the same website with another theme(with jetpack and facebook sharing) in another language.
Facebook imports the correct photo on that website. The post on the websites are identical but in 2 different languages.

I need to fix this issue. Let me know if you know what is causing this.

For obvious reasons I am not going to post the urls here but let me know if you want to see the actual posts.
