Unfortunately I don't know why this is happening.

There's a plugin that will duplicate posts and pages for you here: http://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicate-post/

Maybe try that? Sorry I can't be more help, but I'm not able to recreate this issue. Hope you understand.

I had already created all the pages before uploading the theme. When I tried to change those fields - no, the changes wouldn't save. It works if I re-create the page. Is there something I can do so I don't have to re-create all the pages? Please advise.

@qtdesigns Just to clarify, if you enter text in the field and click save, does it not save your change? If so, that's not a theme-related issue, but has something to do with your WordPress configuration.

I tried deleting the page, creating a new one then updating the info in the boxes, that also worked if I ran into the same problem you are having.

I use BraveNet. I have figured out that if you update the field, click "update" or "Publish" the info will go away. It's very strange, but so far I don't see it hindering the website at all.

GoDaddy is our host and we just set up this account - it's on Linux server, using PHP 5.4.2.

I'm not entirely sure why some users get errors like this and others don't. I myself have never seen these types of warning messages.

This may have to do with your hosting configuration. Are you on a linux or windows server? Do you know what version of PHP your host is using?

I'm getting these error messages as well:

Custom Background URL:

<b>Warning</b>:  Illegal string offset 'custom-background' in <b>/home/fmsstudios/public_html/wp-content/themes/producer/functions.php</b> on line <b>289</b>

I've tried editing it but it keeps reverting back to that. I tried re-uploading the theme file but it persists. I also tried replacing just the functions.php file (per the above) but it's still giving the same error messages.

Please advise.

I still get the info, but if I replace it and update, it actually works.

I just purchased the theme and so far I love it.
However, when I try to create a page, I get this string of text in the custom section for both "Page Description" and "Custom Background URL"

<b>Warning</b>:  Illegal string offset 'sub-text' in <b>/misc/8/000/157/153/6/user/web/darkdenproductions.com/wp-content/themes/producer/functions.php</b> on line <b>289</b>

If I try to replace it with an actual URL, it does reverts back to that same code. I tried opening the functions.php but it says something is wrong on line 5. But according to the lines of code it's also something wrong on line 289.

Any idea how I can fix this? Thank you so much!
