<p>I like having a solid background to my hyper links.</p>

<p>However, this is creating a little colour bar at the bottom of my images, behind the image.</p>
<p>How can I avoid this? I've been wracking my css brain to solve but no joy :(<br />
I realize this is perhaps more a stack-over flow question.
