The slider is only intended for images. However, if you make an image for the post, and then insert the video into the post, it works well.

O.k. I understand. My new question is more general, then. Is there a straightforward way at present to include a youtube video on a "featured" post and have it appear in the slider?

Would like to be able to embed a youtube video in a featured post so that it's cover picture show up in the slider. I am using the Smart YouTube plugin: http://www.prelovac.com/vladimir/wordpress-plugins/smart-youtube

When I use their code, the youtube link shows up in my post. Kinda ugly.

Any thoughts?
