Where are you grabbing your Embed code from? If you're using YouTube, within your post just flip the to "HTML" tab and paste the Embed code... it's that simple.

Let me know, you don't need to upload or insert via the Media Manager to embed videos from a service that provides embed codes! More info can be found on YouTube where you can grab that embed code.

I try to embed video files (.flv or .mov) but it doesn't work! What i'm doing wrong?

Dashboard-> add new page-> upload video-> Gallery-> insert video-> save

You cannot embed videos in place of the photos. But, on any page or post there's nothing restraining you from embedding a YouTube or Vimeo video. Due to the size of the content area, you'll need to be extra careful of the size you embed.
