Gotcha. Unfortunately support isn't provided for customizations like this as it involves custom code you're using to play audio that *may* interfere with the built-in method of playing audio. I wasn't trying to use the build-in audio player.
The audio tag I was using to embed the audio with-in the page was HTML5.

If HTML is allowed in posts I figured this tag would work but maybe it does interfere with the theme.

It appears like you're not trying to use the built-in method for playing audio. The built-in method doesn't require you to use the audio tag. It's all done automatically.

After you upload audio to a post/page, it will automatically grab those files and load them. You don't need to insert the songs anywhere or copy/paste the URL.

If you're using an audio plugin, that may interfere with the built-in method for playing audio.

There aren't any songs for the player to play. Please be sure you're uploading songs to the post/page and then test to see if it's working.

When the page loads I can see the controls briefly but they disappear?
