You can ignore that message. Just go ahead and create the menu like normal. Also, try using the name "Main" for the menu.

I cant seem to find where I can edit the items in the menu for this theme, when I access the menu option in the admin panel, there is no existing menu, and when I try to create one, it tells me the theme does not support customized menus.

I don't care about custom menus, but I would like to remove and add my own menu items, how can this be accomplished?

Thanks

\\ Edit - Disregard, I got it fixed.
Thanks for the great theme!
