Maybe it's just Chrome on the Mac because Google claims my version is up-to-date.

As far as the Slider not meant to stop, understood. BUT - being that politicians largest voting block tends to be older folks who are less computer savvy, it would be great if when they intuitively clicked on the video to play it that it automatically triggered the pause button. Just a suggestion.

And thanks for your troubleshooting - really appreciate it.

I'm not seeing any issues in Chrome with the drop down menu, so I'm tempted to think you're using an older version of Chrome?

The slider isn't intended to stop if playing a video. The pause button is used to stop the slider by the user.

You were right about the install - however Chrome still hides the Drop down menu behind the slider image it swaps out. Also, playing the movie doesn't stop the slider. Is there a fix for that?

Thanks.

I was using Chrome 8.0.552.237. I had to disable the drop down because I couldn't find a way around it. But the Slider is somewhat of a problem because although it links perfectly to videos posted elsewhere, once you click to play the video, the slider keeps sliding. So again, is there a way to disable the slide feature or change the default status to pause as opposed to play with the site loads?

Really appreciate any help on this.

Thx!

That's strange. What browser are you using? Do you know which version number of the browser as well? Do you have a link to your site doing this?

1st - Thanks for the Theme!

2nd - Again... Thank You for the Theme. It has been a lifesaver.

Now what I'm here for.: The drop down menu, when three items or more, gets 'covered' by the slider image as it slides back and forth. Is there a way to do the following:

a. Disable the slider and feature a single image or video?

b. Fix the drop down menu so its lower half doesn't get covered by the slider images / videos?

Thanks for your help.

Trying to make the dropdown navigation in the main navigation work like it does on the demo site without any luck. I have several pages built as sub-pages with a main navigation item as its parent. What else do I need to do to get the dropdown nav to work?

Thanks in advance for your assistance.
