Hello again,

I don't know if you've had a chance to look at these issues but I've found that it is the carousel in the footer that is causing the slider images to resolve out of kilter on the iPad. I chopped off 192px from the carousel width (so now I only see 4 at a time) and this allowed a slider image to appear in the middle. I think the iPad has issues with the left and right nav buttons being outsige the content area?

The iPad also cuts off the left and right navigation buttons on the slider, so I had to bring them in so they are over the images!

Both the slider and the carousel still scroll like crap on the iPad though, and I've had to alter my menu structure because I can't work out how to get the drop downs to work on the iPad.

I guess I'm probably asking a bit much for a solution to these issues but it may be something to keep in mind for future themes (or maybe just highlight that they may not work as intended on some mobile devices)?

Hello,

Just bought the Wordpress Aid theme and I am very impressed.

Unfortunately I too have the issue with drop downs not working on the iPad (both my site and the live demo site) and was wondering if you had managed to recreate it (I have tested on both the safari and atomic browser on my iPad).

I also have found that the iPad doesn't seem to like the top slider and footer carousel. The top slider loads the first image left justified (on the screen) and a slice of the second image sticks it's nose in on the right. Clicking the slider right arrow (which is being clipped by the edge of the screen) will fetch the next image, but the 'sliding effect' is entirely lost and the resultant effect is pretty grotty (and you still get the issue where the subsequent image is partially displayed).

Oddly, clicking to rotate the footer carousel causes the top slider to center. But the ugly sliding still remains for both the slider and carousel.

Again this issue is the same for my site (which has no additional plugins active) and the live demo site.

Any assistance/solutions/alternatives would be greatly appreciated. Otherwise I'm back to square one :(

I'm not seeing the issue, which makes me think it is a mobile browser bug. I'm not sure. I'll look into it though.

Hi There,

The drop down menu doesn't seem to work on the iPad. Sometimes the menu drops down, sometimes it doesn't. I also tested it with the live preview of your demo theme and I had the same problems.
