Ahh ok. Yes I wasnt sure if that was the case or it was above the menu. Is it possible to have it placed above the menu if I hire someone? Thanks.

There isn't a specific measurement required. The amount of space available is depending on the size of your menu (the logo and menu share the amount of horizontal space available).

Yes I tried reapplying it with the code but still the same result so I deleted. The logo was temporary as Im still making final decision. Is there an ideal measurement I should maybe try to relay to my designer?

You have both a very large logo and a very long menu. Since there is a finite amount of horizontal space, you may want to consider reducing the size of the logo and/or condensing your main menu items via drop-down.

That said, try adding this to your Custom CSS box on the customize page (appearance > customize)...
