Using WordPress features, you can add specific class names to a specific menu items (via the "menus" page/editor). With a class name assigned, you can apply custom CSS to change the style of that item.

On the top menu (wp-aid) I want to change the text color for one single menu item (to highlight it from the rest). Please advice me on how to do this...

Hi there,

On the menu page, if you click the upper right "screen options" button, you'll see a "CSS Classes" check box. Click that and now you can enter a custom class name for each menu item - example: purpleColors

Then you can add a custom color for that class. Here's an example form the demo...

#dropmenu li ul li.purpleColors a {background-color: #C58DD1;}

I noticed you had different colours going on with the drop down menus in the demo video - how do I change those colours?
