Hey there,

Your "Featured" image is what shows up in the "Listing" pages for your posts. The Background Image is where you specify the background image for the page.

Here's a video walkthrough (5:40) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oK_yUeLDfr8

Hopefully this helps clarify - following this should really get it working for you. Let me know if you still have issues.

Thanks,
Justin

Well, I got the background to at least show the default image. It still won't show the feature image.

Here's the site.

thanks. I managed to get rid of the background scrollbar. (Honestly, I don't recall what I did.)

Now I'm having a different issue with the background image. I deleted an image and I can't seem to get the background to load a different image. I just get a white page even though I have a default and images in the post.

Can you post a link to your site? I need to see #1 in action. I'm not sure I follow you on #2 & #3...

Let me know if you can explain a bit further.

Thanks,

Hey Chris,
I also posted this on the Themeforest comment section. Sorry about the repetition.

I purchased the theme and it looks great. I’ve got 3 questions.
1. I have a double scrollbar, or rather, I always have a scrollbar when the menu/list/etc window is open. If the list or menu is too long, a second scrollbar appears. Can this be fixed?

2. I’d like the option of clicking on a thumbnail or even the gallery (backstretch) image name and going to the post page. I know Zeences does this, but I think they use Tim Thumb. On their theme, they proclaim:
Thumbnails will be generated automatically from the portfolio post featured images and each thumbnail has the option to link directly to a “pretty photo” lightbox gallery, a video lightbox or to the portfolio post page.

3. I know the thumbnails substitute for the WP Gallery within a page or a post, but if I want a nice grid of small images, the WP gallery works pretty well. As a sort of follow up to question 2, it would be nice to be able to link from the small image to a post page. Is there anyway to bypass the function or script (excuse my ignorance) that controls the link URL ?
