Hi there, it's NextGen, far from perfect but I like how it looks.. you have to make sure you compress ur images and re-size yourself to around 800x600 (as opposed to letting next gen do it automatically) or else the thumbnails won't work...

Hi there, thanks so much for the encouragement!

It has taken me a long time..a lot of persistence and a lot of problem solving. I hadn't used Wordpress before but had some some basic editing of websites. I found the support forum to be helpful, I found that most answers to questions could be found by either searching for keywords, or asking. The documentation could do with improvement but I guess they don't want to cram too much into it to confuse people!?! Often the problems aren't theme related, they are wordpress related. I also used the wordpress help forums a lot as well as one on Linked in.. actually my biggest problem that took me FOREVER to sort out (no one's advice worked), was answered by Mike Little the co-founder of Wordpress on a Linked in group!

There are still 'issues'/changes with the site that I can't fix, and so I am getting these changes customised. I got a quote from Werkpress (the co. that the Molitor suggests) and it was really expensive, it's about 1/4 of the price if I go through (expat) designers here in Phnom Penh (I love asia!). Let me know if you want a contact.

Anyway, my advice from a newbie would be take it one step at a time.. just try and tackle one part of the site and then another, don't stress yourself by thinking 'it's all too much'. It will get easier!

Oops, my fault, the Donate text can be controlled :) In your Custom CSS (Optional) panel, drop this in:

#dropmenu li.action a {color: #000000;}

#000000 is black... if you need it a different color, you can simply look here: http://html-color-codes.info/

Cheers Justin! It's looking heaps better now. With 1. donate text button color, I thought that I had changed the main navigation (the buttons below the slider?) to black but the donate button text is still white? http://www.test.cwscambodia.org/

Hey Jacqui, some thoughts:

1) Donate Text color is going to always be the same as your main navigation. This is a global style. Without some CSS work, you're not going to be able to create a separate color.

2) In your Theme Options > Custom CSS (Optional) section, enter this: #searchform {margin-top: 40px;}... if you don't see that in the Theme Options panel, open your Style.CSS file, find #searchform and edit margin-top to 40px. If you need it adjusted after that, just add or reduce pixels from 40.

3) Same deal as #2, only: #dropmenu li a:hover {color: gray;}

I don't think you need to pay, these should get you on your way!

Hi Justin, hope you don't mind me asking three questions in one post - I can separate if you like.

I'm getting there with the website (http://www.test.cwscambodia.org/) but can't work out the following which I am assuming is easy to fix in the css.. I have been trying for a while but just cannot find where to change the following:

- donate button text color (currently white, would like to make black with a grey roll over)
- search field position is too high, need to move into centre of the top panel
- menu roll over color, would like to change from white to grey

I will probably have to get some things customised at a later date but would really like to save my org some money and do these simple things myself.
