Hi Chris, This is exactly what we needed... just a new, updated version. A friend of mine, more technical actually looked into it.. he just ended up buying the newest version (at like 3:00am)... so, that's fine, I'll use my access to free updates next time. All is well...

Hi there,

The latest version of The Daily Press doesn't have a line 230 in functions.php, so it's possible that you're using an old version of the theme that is not compatible with recent updates to WordPress.

I recommend you grab the latest copy of the theme from your downloads page and install/activate it. Be sure when you're finished to review the options on the Customize page as there may be new options that need your attention.

For more info about updating, please review this FAQ thread: http://www.themolitor.com/forums/topic/faq-how-do-i-update-my-theme

Let me know if that helps at all.

Best,

Chris

Hi Chris,

We've been using Daily Press for a few years now, it's been great. Today we encountered a problem, this is all we see when we bring up our domain (www.slmarket.com) in our web browser.

"Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_CONSTANT_ENCAPSED_STRING, expecting ',' or ';' in /hermes/bosoraweb177/b1743/ipw.slmarket/public_html/wp-content/themes/dailypress/functions.php on line 230"

I cannot access slmarket.com/wp-admin. So I'm working through the back end of our control panel. I found the 'functions.php' file and looked it over, I'm not a code expert, but I didn't see anything wrong in the code on line 230... but I was also counting black lines (returns) as I was counting down the lines of the code.

Does this look like a malicious plant of nasty code to you?

I renamed the 'plugins' folder to 'plugins1' and refreshed to try to eliminate that variable to no avail.

Any suggestions?
