Hey there, thanks for your patience. Make sure that you go to Theme Options > General > and select a Category to be your "Blog". Make sure that's NOT the category you're using for your Locations page.

Hey Justin,

We're getting closer! I have 76 locations programed in with lat/long coordinates. I followed your instructions, and when I go to the new page, each post is just showing as a blog post instead of as pins on a large map as it did on the homepage. But, when I click on one of the posts, it shows that specific location on the map at the specified zoom level.

So, wasn't sure how much "full location details" meant, so I plugged in addresses on two of them, but it's the same results as above - the category page isn't showing the full map with all the pins - just a blog post page.

So, I need the full map to display on the new category page as it would if it were on the homepage - as a full big map with all my pins on it (and when I scroll over one, it shows the info in the bottom right corner).

BTW, my site is http://www.geofutr.com if that helps. The new "category" page that I want to display the full map is the "locations" tab for now.

Thanks!

Create a Category that you will use for the Map locations. After creating that Category, go to Appearance > Menus > Add this Category to your Menu. After that, go to Posts and start adding Posts to that Category. Make sure that all posts in the Category have *full* location details filled out.

Then, when a user clicks on that "Page" which is really a Category in your navigation it'll take you to the Map w/the pins :)

Good luck,
Justin

Justin - thanks. But...it says the front page is "sample page" now (as opposed to something that has the map on it). So, I can change the front page to one of my existing pages or a new page that I create, but then how do I get the big map on one of my secondary pages?

Hey there, go to Settings > Reading > Front Page Displays As > Select the page you would like to display!

That'll do it...
