I'm not sure what you mean by identical information. When you create a post for the map, you have to enter map data.

When you view the home page, that post will show up with all the other map posts. On the individual page for that post, you'll see the map with that post only.

So basically I can display the same content on each page (in this case the map) I just need to provide identical information on each post/page?

I think there's a misunderstanding... To be clear, the theme supports maps on individual post pages when there is proper map data provided. The map that displays is not the same as the home page. The difference is that the home page map shows ALL pins, while the individual post map only shows that specific location.

If you want the home page map to show on individual post pages (with ALL pins showing), that is a customization.

if you wan the individual map to show on the individual post page (like the demo site), but it's not, that either means you haven't properly entered map data for that post or have specified a background image to display instead.

Does that make sense?

Okay, and what if I'd say that there are either 4/5 pages or posts and that's where the map should be displayed identically? Posts or pages, whatever is easier or functions better. Is it still too much effort?

Well, displaying the map is very important for me, that was the main reason why I bought this theme. The visitors should be able to see the map on various pages, while the content of that map will remain the same, that's why I am trying to implement those image overlays if you still remember.
Therefore I need this map on every page, unless specified otherwise (for example the 404-page).

I need to display the map from the startpage on the majority of my pages, if not all. This should apply to posts and pages.
