Regarding your other question, you can display as many category pages as you like. Simply create the category and add a link to that category on the "menus" page.

Is there any way of disabling the post thumbnail and instead adding preview to the post on the front page? Also How can I make other pages just show information about a specific post category (ex. homepage shows "News" category, New page shows "How To" category.
