Open up post-form.php and remove the following on lines 154-157...

<p><!--CATEGORY-->
<label for="cat"><?php _e('Category', 'themolitor') ?></label><br />
<?php wp_dropdown_categories( 'show_option_none='.__('Select','themolitor').'&taxonomy=category&exclude='.$blogCat); ?>
</p>
