You should be able to edit that file from the editor page in your WordPress dashboard (Appearance > Editor). If not, you'll need to access them either using an FTP app or your hosting cPanel.

Hi Christopher
Ok, I found the slider php file. I made the change but the only way I could open the file was using notepad. It didn't work - didn't change the dates on the site.
Can you help?

Hi there,

Open up slider.php and change the following on line 21 from this...

<div class="sliderDate"><?php echo get_the_time('m.d.Y'); ?></div>

...to this...

<div class="sliderDate"><?php echo get_the_time('d.m.Y'); ?></div>

The date format on the slider is currently displaying the american way, so month, then date, then year. I need it to show the English way, so date, then month, then year.

How do I do this please?
