Yeah, in "style.css", at the very top you can change the color. Locate the following...

html {background-color:#151515; ...

Change the #151515 to whatever hex color value you want to use. Here's a tool to generate a hex value: http://www.colorpicker.com/

There appears to be no "Background" element in the "Appearance" section - so can I still customize the background to another color than black?
