Hi there,

I'm not sure what's happening there. I'm not able to recreate this on my end. Sometimes this happens when users import demo content, but I haven't heard of other users having this issue when they create a new post.

Do you have any plugins installed? Can you provide a link to your site?

It autofills the custom post field for backgrounds in the post edit page in the backend admin (when I create a new post). This is what is in that area:
Warning: Illegal string offset 'background' in <b>/homepages/25/d225534460/htdocs/cafesf/wp-content/themes/nocturnal/functions.php on line 115

Again, this happens automatically when I create a new BLANK post in the backend admin.

Please let me know if that makes sense and how to fix.

Hi there,

Please review the custom post fields on the post edit screen for your posts. Make sure there are no odd characters in the Custom Background field option.

I get this error in the Custom Background Image URL box on the post page:

Warning:  Illegal string offset 'background' in <b>/homepages/25/d225534460/htdocs/cafesf/wp-content/themes/nocturnal/functions.php on line 115

If I publish and I have it in a category that appears on the homepage, the homepage says:

Warning: Illegal string offset 'background' in /homepages/25/d225534460/htdocs/cafesf/wp-content/themes/nocturnal/index.php on line 30

Please advise.

Can you post the error message you see? Since they were using a local install, it's not going to be the same exact error message/location as posted above.
