The best way to create additional custom fields is to review the "functions.php" file and copy/paste the custom field data and change the naming. Then open up "single.php" and review how the custom fields are being displayed and copy/paste that section, replacing the text with what you added in "functions.php".

If you need help, please use this form: http://www.themolitor.com/customization-quote-request/

Yes, it's clear that I need to create a contact form and then create the post myself.

When you are in the dashboard\add new post, a part from the title and the body of the post you have some custom post options (zoom level, latitude, longitude, etc...).

But how can I do it if I want to add some extra info like place phone, place URL...? Can I create custom fields? What do you have to do to show them in the map item?

Thanks

I'm not sure of a front-end method to allow users to create posts. The best option I can think of is to create a contact form with the fields needed for you to create the post for them.

I recommend using the contact form 7 plugin to do this. There is a link to the plugin in the "resources" section of the help file.

I want to create a website with user-generated content. They will submit all the info about a place via a form and I will create the map item.
But I would like to enter some info about the place like, place URL, place phone, place email...

How can this be done? With customs fields? If so, what do you have to do to show them in the map item?

Thanks in advance.
