Hi there,

I say that BECAUSE I've done it, haha! It isn't a method that I like to use anymore. I would take that feature OUT of The Producer if I didn't have to worry about user complaints :-)

Best,

Christopher

Hi Chris,

You say that but you implemented exactly that for the Producer theme, another one of your themes I use. Why is it any different for VYSUAL?

Hi there,

Unfortunately WordPress doesn't have a clean way to control featured/background images for category pages. It usually involves a lot of hacking and is very messy to implement.

You might have some luck searching for a plugin that adds custom background functionality for category pages, but I haven't researched or tested this myself.

Best,

Christopher

Hi,

As cast and crew are posts under a "category" is it possible to change the background for each category? Mine is defaulting to the static home page which doesn't look good.

Pages can have a "featured image" as a background which is perfect is there a way to do this with cast and crew?
