The video feature only requires an embed code (or equivalent). It doesn't have to be from YouTube or Vimeo, but a video is required in order for the theme to treat the post like a video project.

Regarding the featured image, once you have a video provided, the theme will display the featured image using standard poster format (as shown in the demo site).

Thanks for your reply. This solution does work, however the issue is that some of the older projects don't have available YouTube/Vimeo clips. Is there any alternative workaround that can allow us to post in the same fashion with the tabbed view? We can create a generic video clip to put in place of these if necessary, but is there no other workaround? The other issue this causes, is that in project category view, the featured image displays way to large comparatively with the other projects.

Only posts that contain a "main video embed code" will display the tabbed layout in the second panel section.

I don't know what's happened, but for the last two posts I've created for this site, the featured image does not display, and nor does the additional tabs? I am wondering what has gone wrong? Because as far as I can tell I haven't done anything different!!
