Hello!

I completed the steps above, but the posts still are not showing up like they are in the demo. Instead, the Cast and Crew menu page is just listing the Cast with their image taking up the whole background. Not sure if this makes sense...

The Cast&Crew page is achieved by doing the following...

1. Create a "Cast & Crew" category on the "Categories" page:

Dashboard --> Posts --> Categories

2. Add a new cast or crew member post on the "Add New Post" page:

Dashboard --> Posts --> Add New

3. Before you publish the post...

  • Be sure to assign the category your created in step #1 above.
  • It's recommended that you upload and assign a featured image (i.e. headshot picture).
  • Click the "Aside" post format in the "Format" box to the right of the post content box ("standard" is selected by default -- Sreenshot).

4. Now that you have an item published to the category you created in step #1 above, you can add the category link to your main menu on the "Menus" page:

Dashboard --> Appearance --> Menus

Ok...I created a category page for cast and crew and made it a menu item. However, I am a tad unsure how to create and format the cast/crew posts so that they show up exactly like you have them in the demo. Any guidance would be much appreciate!

Hello!

I am very new to Wordpress and purchased this theme because it looks amazing. For the most part, I have not had any issues customizing it. However, I for the life of me cannot figure out how to create the Cast & Crew page like is in the demo. I understand it is a Category page, but I am very unclear how to set that up.
