Hi there,

Regarding this page... http://fredhaulinginc.com/category/residential/ ...You need to assign a featured image for each of those posts to display like the demo site with an image gallery in the example section.

When I visit this page... http://fredhaulinginc.com/residential/mar-vista/ ...the gallery is displaying just like it should.

Let me know if that helps.

Best,

Hi Christopher,

Even if upload a new set into a post, it still displays with a + like it's not a gallery, by clicking on the + it displays like a gallery. I've tried uploading a new set under different names, deleting the files in the Media Library. I'm not sure what else to try, please let me know what else to try as upload, insert are not working.

Thanks,
Chris

When I go to insert media, it takes me to the pictures I've uploaded to my media library, from there, I simply select a few and the only option I have is "insert into post" I don't see any upload to post. What am I doing wrong as I don't see any upload option. I do get an upload option when I want to play with a picture I don't have in my library.

Hi there,

Looks like your inserting the images into the post. Do NOT insert the images. All you need to do is upload them to the post you want them to display on. When they are uploaded to a specific post, they get "attached" to that post and will automatically display in the post gallery.

Let me know if that helps.

Best,

Christopher

Hi Christopher,

Now everytime I create a new post, it doesn't display as a GALLERY, it will do everything but a gallery post. I've tried editing the image size, adding more, adding less no matter what I do, it wont display as a gallery, what am I doing wrong?

Question:

How can I prevent a 2nd menu from displaying on the main page. I get "ALL ITEMS * COMMERCIAL * RESIDENTIAL * TEAM" with a check on ALL ITEMS. I don't see that menu on any other pages. I want to make that menu disappear so they user can use the default template you have which I have now customized.

How do I prevent all my post from displaying on the main site. I don't want anything on it but how you have your example. I want the user to view corresponding information when they click on a given link than everything being updated on the main site.

Thanks

Never mind.. Kept playing with it and figured it out. On Appearance/Menu and on the MENU STRUCTURE, I had linked the pages I created so every time I would select a page ie. mysite.com/team and now I removed that TEAM PAGE and went to the left on CATEGORIES and selected the TEAM category > add to menu... this put 2 "TEAM" on the menu, the original was TEAM PAGE and now it's TEAM CATEGORY. So now the link is mysite.com/category/team and it's displaying every post created that's assigned team.

Thank you! Maybe it's the fact that it's 12:30am..... I shall work on this in the AM!

Hi Chris.

I Created a "team page" now I created individual team members to display on the team page on the bottom of the menu (just how you have it on the example) but instead, it shows on the main page and no matter what I create, it just shows on the main page and not where I wanted. I know I'm missing something simple. I have created categories and when I create a post, I select that category and hope it shows in the team page but no matter what post I create, it won't show on the given page I want it to display in.

What am I doing wrong? Do I have the wrong mentality in creating a page/post? THANKS! This is a nice template!!! A+
