On the menus page, please make sure you assigned the menus you created on the left-hand side in the drop down selection box.

Starting to question my own sanity here. Your theme has two menus - Main and social. If these are created why am I getting a message to create a new menu?

Anyway I've created a new menu, saved menu etc go to 'visit site' and I get the message 'Please create a menu on the menus page (under appearance) to populate this site.' I have done and there are your menus anyway???????? If I try to customise the new menu I get 'Oops! custom menu items cannot be used as panels. Please visit your "menus" page and remove this custom menu item from your main menu.

I'm not giving up - somethings not working (maybe me)

Your patience is appreciated - your theme installed, activated, demo content imported......customise options all working and page previews all working

BUT

I can't preview the whole live site, going to visit site and I get the message 'Please create a menu on the menus page (under appearance) to populate this site.'

I can upload and activate other themes and they view live just as they should. I know there's nothing wrong with your theme so please please what am I doing wrong or haven't done at all. Trust me I've read a lot and used the wordpress support but all to no to avail:-(

This is a WordPress theme. Once you've installed the theme to your WordPress dashboard, you can import the demo content from the tools > import page.

Please put me right here, I thought I'd bought a theme template ie having loaded the demo content file I would be able to view a complete if not demo site.
Your link above suggests I have to create a menu and presumably all the content rather than edit your template to make it fit our needs. Have I got it all wrong?

A beginners problem. I can unzip the main Panels folder then upload the smaller (windows) panels zip file with demo content file and help folder included in the zip file but can't view the demo content in Wordpress - being instructed to create menus page. Sorry if the solution is obvious but advice sadly required please.
